I received treatment for dry eyes (tear treatment) at Gangnam Bright Smile Eye Clinic. I had been told that the tears that flow endlessly in winter are a symptom of presbyopia and that they couldn't be treated, so for years, I cried every winter. However, after hearing from a friend that there was treatment available, I decided to visit. The features of the clinic are as follows: 1. Thorough pre-examination: They conduct a wide range of tests systematically, including vision correction surgeries (like LASIK and LASEK). 2. Direct consultation with the director: It's reassuring that not only the consultation manager but also the director personally checks the eye condition and explains the pros and cons of the surgery and treatment candidly. 3. Avoiding unnecessary treatments: I appreciate that they don't force surgery if it's not suitable for the patient's eye condition, instead recommending conservative treatments. They emphasized that my tear treatment wouldn't completely eliminate tears but would gradually improve. 4. Post-treatment care: Even during regular check-ups after surgery and treatment, the director carefully checks the progress and provides feedback. I've received the dry eye (tear) treatment three times, and after the first two sessions, I started to feel some gradual improvement from the third session. I want to decide on continuing treatment based on the results after the final fifth session. Since this is a treatment, it can also be claimed under health insurance.

Given that it can be claimed under health insurance, but it’s relatively expensive, I didn’t find it overwhelmingly effective for me after committing to multiple sessions over months. However, there are people who seem to see results, as there are consistently patients receiving treatment. The staff are all kind, and the facilities are clean. It seems that the clinic is well-known for vision correction surgeries, as many national and professional athletes come here for procedures.
