My high school daughter was suffering from diarrhea and vomiting multiple times since early morning, and it was really tough for her. Since it was Saturday, we went in early. Thanks to the kind consultation from the doctor, we confirmed it was gastroenteritis and colitis. She couldn't eat, so we received an IV prescription for her malnutrition and dehydration symptoms. While she was receiving IV treatment on the warm bedding in the treatment room, my daughter suddenly got the urge to vomit. I quickly tried to catch it with a plastic bag, but unfortunately, the blanket got soiled a bit. In the midst of my panic, the nurse came over with wet wipes, tissues, and a new plastic bag and reassured me that the blanket was fine and not to worry about it. I was so grateful and also felt bad. Thanks to the wonderful nurses, she completed her IV treatment without any issues, and we're back home now, taking her medication and resting. Thank you!
