I've had issues with my dental appliance that I've been using for a long time, so I chose "Siloam" because the name is from the Bible and feels familiar. Before that, the dental clinic (Kim Dental Clinic) closed down, so I couldn't go there anymore. During the root canal treatment, there are usually about 2 nerves in the molar area, but I was told I had 3, which extended the treatment period. I’ve had a trauma related to dental clinics and have avoided them since I was young; I think many people probably feel the same way. After finishing the root canal, aside from dental treatment, I also had a lot of difficulties eating, but thankfully I could use my old appliance as a temporary solution, even though it was uncomfortable. It wasn’t just me who faced difficulties; my wife also struggled for almost a month preparing for this. Now that I’ve changed my appliance, I can eat, but there are still some uncomfortable parts that I need to correct over the next month. The doctor mentioned that since I’m older now compared to when I was young, my gums have receded quite a bit, and I need to adjust accordingly. Since I often feel discomfort, I started to worry after 3 or 4 appointments, wondering if my appliance was swapped with someone else's, but the doctor explained it well so I was able to understand. The clinic itself was relatively spacious and clean, and the kindness of the desk nurse was great. The doctor's friendly and understandable explanations helped relieve my anxiety, which I really appreciated. The end.
