겨울철 추워서 잘 안움여지고 먹기만하는데 좀더 움직이도록 해야겠어요
“We found that increasing the duration of aerobic exercise was proportionally associated with greater reductions in body weight, waist circumference and body fat,” said study co-lead author Dr Ahmad Zayed, an epidemiologist and biostatistician at Imperial College London’s School of Health.
The research team analyzed the results of 116 randomized clinical trials involving 6,880 participants. These included data from overweight or obese adults (61% women, mean age 46) who participated in supervised aerobic exercise-focused trials lasting at least eight weeks.
According to the study, 150 minutes of exercise per week was associated with a reduction in body weight of approximately 2.79 kg, a 3.26 cm decrease in waist circumference, and a 2.08% decrease in body fat percentage. Specifically, for every 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per week, an average weight loss of approximately 0.52 kg, a 0.56 cm decrease in waist circumference, and a 0.37% decrease in body fat percentage was observed. Furthermore, 300 minutes of exercise per week resulted in a 4.19 kg decrease in body weight, a 4.12 cm decrease in waist circumference, and a 1.78% decrease in body fat percentage.
Over the past 45 years, the global prevalence of obesity has tripled. More than 50% of adults are overweight or obese. According to the 2019 Global Burden of Disease Study, obesity is the leading cause of death and disease. Aerobic exercise is currently recommended as a key component of weight management. Significant weight loss requires at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise per week.
The research team noted that these recommendations were largely dependent on individual trials. They also wanted to see whether an analysis evaluating the "dose-response relationship" between aerobic exercise and body fat reduction would yield similar results. Dr. Zayed stated, "We confirmed that current guidelines that require at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week to achieve clinically meaningful improvements in waist circumference and body fat are valid."
The results of this study (Aerobic Exercise and Weight Loss in Adults) were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association Network Open (JAMA Network Open) and introduced by the American health and medical media outlet MedicalXpress.

Is it because it's especially cold in winter?
It's getting hotter and the fats are
I don't think about moving
Does what you eat accumulate?
I need to move a bit, I'm going to turn into a real pig.
