Apple Cider Vinegar: Benefits and How to Consume

Suppression of harmful intestinal bacteria

Apple cider vinegar acts as a post-biotic. Post-biotics directly eliminate harmful bacteria without being destroyed by stomach acid and bile acids in our bodies, thereby creating a healthy intestinal environment.

2. Removal of waste products and detoxification

Acetic acid, abundant in vinegar, not only detoxifies the liver but also helps eliminate various wastes from our body.

Fruit vinegar is also a good detox food because the pectin found in fruits combines with harmful substances in the body and is expelled from the body.

3. Body fat breakdown

Apple cider vinegar is said to play a role in breaking down, reducing, and inhibiting the formation of fat (abdominal and visceral fat). This is because the organic acids contained in apple cider vinegar are highly effective at activating the breakdown of body fat and eliminating toxins.

4. Blood sugar level suppression

Apple cider vinegar is effective in preventing diabetes by suppressing blood sugar spikes.

In a study involving 110 diabetic patients, some participants consumed approximately 200mL of water mixed with 15mL of apple cider vinegar for three months. The results showed that those who drank the diluted apple cider vinegar had significantly lower blood sugar levels and HbA1c compared to those who did not.

Apple cider vinegar helps improve insulin sensitivity that has been dulled by excessive sugar intake.
