Research has shown that green tea, apples, and strawberries, which are rich in flavonoid components, are effective in preventing type 2 diabetes.

 

According to a paper published in the journal 'Nutrition & Diabetes' on the 22nd of last month (local time), people who consumed foods rich in flavonoids six times a day

The risk of developing type 2 diabetes was 26% lower compared to those who took it once a day.

 

It was stated that increasing the intake of foods rich in specific flavonoids can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. It was found that reductions in body fat and baseline inflammation, as well as improvements in kidney and liver function, partially explain this association.
