5 Bad Eating Habits That Cause Fatigue

"Insufficient fiber intake" = It is recommended to have breakfast with foods high in fiber, such as whole grains or nuts. According to a study by the Prevention Research Center at Yale University in the United States, fiber acts as a filter that slows the absorption of fats and sugars in the intestines.

 

"Exercising for a long time without eating" = If you exercise for more than two hours without eating anything, your blood sugar levels drop rapidly, which is not good for your body. Our body uses glucose, a type of sugar, to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is essential for energy metabolism.

 

All cells in our body require ATP for energy production. If we do not eat food, blood sugar levels drop, and our body cannot produce enough ATP, leading to fatigue and weakness.

 

"Not eating 'energy vegetables'" = There are vegetables that are useful for energy production. Vegetables like broccoli and cabbage contain a large amount of a compound called isothiocyanate, which promotes the production of mitochondria responsible for ATP synthesis. The more mitochondria in the body, the better muscle activity becomes and the less fatigued one feels.

 

"Insufficient iron intake" = If you follow a vegetarian-based diet and frequently drink coffee or tea, your body may be deficient in iron. About 12% of women aged 20 to 49 are iron deficient.

 

Women need to consume 18 mg of iron daily before the age of 50, and 8 mg daily afterward. Meat consumption is the best source, but kidney beans or spinach are also good options, and it is recommended to eat them with vitamin C-rich fruits or vegetables such as oranges or tomatoes to enhance iron absorption.

 

"Eating too little carbohydrates" = Recently, low-carb diets have gained attention. Experts say, "Our bodies rely on carbohydrates to function, and it's unfortunate that some people are overly reluctant to consume them."

 

Research has shown that women who consume too few carbohydrates perform worse on memory tests compared to women who do not. Carbohydrates also help the body burn fat.

      저도 처음엔 공복운동이 좋은줄 알았는데 아니더라구요~~견과류, 사과, 두유, 삶은계란 등등 간단하게 먹고 운동하니 좋네요^^

    잘안되드라구요..근데..너무 적으면 또 그렇군요...
