My first step in managing my blood sugar was consistent blood sugar monitoring. I experienced that blood sugar levels decrease when I check my blood sugar while simultaneously exercising and managing my diet. First, I reduced the amount of high-sugar foods like oranges and bananas to about half, cut the amount of multigrain rice in half, and ate vegetables either steamed without sauce or raw. I do light 20-minute walks immediately after meals, and I regularly do stair climbing exercises and home workouts for 30 minutes each morning and evening. Although my fasting blood sugar is still above 100, it has decreased from the initial 135, so I believe that with consistent management, it can return to normal.
