Supplements that are good to take in the morning

 

1. Vitamin B - Take before breakfast (after meals if gastrointestinal discomfort occurs)

 

Vitamin B complex is a nutrient that energizes the body, participates in various metabolic activities such as producing energy within the body, and generates immune antibodies.

If you exert a lot of physical effort, experience stress, work overtime, suffer from sleep deprivation, or engage in alcohol consumption and smoking, you tend to burn more energy and become easily fatigued. In such cases, taking B vitamins can be helpful.

Vitamin B complex plays an important role in energy production in the body, so it is recommended to take it at the start of the day. Taking it at night may interfere with sleep, so morning intake is advised. Additionally, taking it before meals can aid absorption, but if you have gastrointestinal issues, it is recommended to take it after meals.

 

2. Iron supplement - take on an empty stomach in the morning (after meals if abdominal discomfort occurs)

 

Iron supplements help replenish iron, an essential nutrient for producing hemoglobin, thereby supporting the creation and function of red blood cells. Additionally, they are known to aid in recovery from fatigue, improve mental health conditions, and assist in reducing fatigue and migraines in women.

Since the timing of iron supplement intake varies depending on the type, it is best to follow the recommended dosage time indicated on the iron supplement you plan to take. Generally, it is advised to take it on an empty stomach, but if you experience abdominal discomfort when taking it on an empty stomach, it is okay to take it after meals.

 

3. Probiotics - Take on an empty stomach in the morning

 

Probiotics are known to not only inhibit the activity of harmful bacteria and maintain normal intestinal motility to prevent constipation or diarrhea but also to strengthen immunity, have anticancer effects, produce vitamins, lower cholesterol, protect the liver, and improve atopic dermatitis symptoms.

The types and products of probiotics may vary slightly, but generally it is best to take them before breakfast. However, if you experience discomfort when taking them on an empty stomach, it is also acceptable to take them after a meal or before bed.

 

4. Red ginseng - on an empty stomach in the morning (if sensitive to the stomach or intestines, within 1 hour after a meal)

 

Red ginseng has benefits such as fatigue recovery, improved blood circulation, strengthened immunity, antioxidant effects, and enhanced memory. When taken on an empty stomach in the morning, absorption is faster. For those with sensitive stomachs or intestines, it is better to take it within an hour after a meal or 2-3 hours before sleep.
