I am generally quite thin overall, but especially weak in my wrists, so I lack arm strength. Even in mountain climbing, which I enjoy so much, I avoid mountains that require climbing with a rope because I don't feel confident in my ability to do so.
Still, to avoid interfering with daily life, I am consistently exercising with light dumbbells that do not strain my weak wrist.
It's better to do your best with something light than to get hurt trying to lift something heavy out of greed.
