The main equipment I use at home is a balance board. I thought it wouldn't be a good workout since balancing isn't difficult, but when I stand on it and perform various balancing exercises, my legs end up trembling, I sweat, and it seems to stimulate my core muscles a lot. It's also great because it doesn't take up much space and can be used anywhere. It's okay even if a heavier person uses it. It has non-slip surfaces both top and bottom. Placing it in a visible spot helps me stay consistent with my practice.
