For me, who only did breathing exercises and walking, last summer was too hot and my back wasn't in good shape.

I have been maintaining my Pilates practice for a year since I started.

I have a slightly lean-obese body type and high cholesterol, so I need to control my diet.

 

They told me I need to exercise regularly during my internal medicine check-up, so I am doing it inevitably to maintain my health.

As I keep doing it, I feel the joy of exercise and also a sense of accomplishment.

Since I exercise, I feel easily fatigued after workouts because I have a small, slim body and low muscle mass. ㅜ.ㅜ

Looking at the InBody results, I need to increase my muscle mass by about 5 kilograms, but it's really difficult.

The more I exercise, the faster my skeletal muscle mass decreases, and when I gain weight, my body fat increases significantly.

I think that when a skinny person like me exercises, they tend to lose muscle even faster.

I exercised to stay healthy, but how sad it is if I lose muscle ㅠ.ㅠ

So, I am drinking protein.

This is paid out of my own pocket.

At first, I took Selects Regular, and the taste was like soy milk, so I ate it without any discomfort.

But as I keep eating, it feels too sweet, so I switched to low sugar.

Compared to the regular version, it seemed too bland, but as I kept eating, it became less sweet, so I think this one is better.

After exercising and coming home, I immediately eat the protein stored in the refrigerator.

 

 

I looked into proteins a bit more.

 

Proteins are called one of the three major nutrients along with carbohydrates and fats, and are also referred to as macronutrients.

The English word "Protein" is said to originate from the Greek word meaning "important thing."

Not only are they the basic components that make up our bodies, but they also act as enzymes in chemical reactions necessary for normal bodily functions, serve as energy sources, and are essential for life maintenance and growth. Therefore, I should eat a proper mix of plant-based and animal-based foods.

The recommended daily intake of protein varies depending on age and body weight.
Generally, the recommended daily intake for adults is 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight.
I have gained weight, so I currently weigh 43kg (43 * 0.8), which is 34g.
The daily amount of protein you need to consume should be taken every day, and since meat contains unhealthy saturated fats, it is better to choose plant-based foods.
Plant-based foods rich in protein include nuts such as peanuts, pistachios, and almonds, as well as legumes, broccoli, and cauliflower. It seems important to consume a good balance of both plant and animal proteins.

Please make sure to take protein after exercise if you have little muscle ^^
