Are there others who experience side effects from cholesterol-lowering medication like I do?

Two years ago, I had a stroke that caused paralysis on one side, and I have been managing it with medication ever since. Fortunately, my symptoms have improved a lot, but whenever I take my cholesterol medication, I feel drowsy and a slight weakness in my muscles. I told my doctor about this, and he said it’s unlikely, but he suggested changing the medication. However, this time, I’ve been experiencing a headache that lasts almost 12 hours. After 12 hours, it gets a little better, but I take the medication again and the headache returns. I told my doctor about this, but he said it’s impossible and implied that I’m just being sensitive, which is very frustrating. I want to change hospitals, but I’m unsure what to say. Do I need to discuss and get documents or anything? I’m 고민 (worried) about what to say when changing hospitals. Do you guys say anything when you switch hospitals? Maybe I should just use moving as an excuse. Even though the prescriptions are the same, I want to go without feeling the doctor’s watchful eye every time.
