꾸준히 달려서 만성두통이 사라지다니 정말 놀랍네요... 끈기도 응원하겠습니다.
I have had chronic headaches for about 10 years.
There was no test that I hadn't undergone, such as comprehensive health check-ups or CT scans.
Even after visiting numerous hospitals such as internal medicine, ENT, and neurology, I was told there were no particular abnormalities and that it was psychosomatic, with explanations like "it's due to stress" or "it's because of stiff neck." I endured with painkillers and suffered from headaches that came several times a day. However, by chance, I visited a traditional Korean medicine clinic near my house, and the doctor advised me to try running regularly. I decided to give it a try, and starting the next day, I began running, initially 1 kilometer, gradually increasing as I got used to it. I ran every day, and after a few months, I was able to run 10 kilometers in an hour. Interestingly, I felt my headaches decrease, which motivated me to run even more diligently.
Even when it snows or rains, a year passes, and two years go by. At some point, the headaches almost completely disappeared, and now I am living without major difficulties.
After running for about 7 to 8 years, it has become a habit, and I rarely experience headaches. I am also managing my weight better and feel healthier.
I've only done breathing exercises since I was born, but running gets better the more I do it.
Running seems to be a really good exercise.
Highly recommend.
