From PicoFraxel reviews to pores, scabs, pain, and price, honest experiences
✅What is PicoFraxel treatment?
Hello~ Today I have a review of PicoFraxel!
Anyone interested in skin treatments has probably heard of it at least once.
PicoFraxel It is famous for stimulating the deep layers of the skin with a silver laser to help reduce pores, improve acne scars, and improve skin texture.
I also tried Pico Fraxel after seeing the pore effects and reviews, but to be honest, I didn't like it.
It wasn't completely ineffective, but the procedure itself was more difficult than I thought and the recovery took a long time, so I thought, "Should I really pay this much money to get it done again?" ㅜㅜ
✅PicoFraxel treatment review
First of all, they apply anesthetic cream when I get the procedure, but the prickling sensation when the laser goes in is still very strong.
It's not a tingling sensation every now and then, it just feels like my whole face is being pricked with needles... haha. Honestly, it's quite painful.
And right after the procedure, my face turned red and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror.
My face got so hot and red that I wondered, “Is this okay?” It lasted for quite a while.
If you look for reviews of PicoFraxel around you, there are some people who say it is effective. I didn't really feel any big changes.
In particular, the pores were almost the same, so I thought, “Did I waste my money…” ㅠㅠ
✅PicoFraxel scabs and pain
A day or two after the procedure, a lot of tiny scabs started forming on my skin.
If you look closely, your face is completely rough... Even makeup can't hide it, so your skin looks even worse.
In addition, you have to be careful about washing your face during the period when the scabs fall off, and if you apply skin care products incorrectly, it can sting…
There were many inconveniences in life.
The pain also lasted quite a while. It wasn't just the day I got it, but for a few days, my skin was so sensitive that even the slightest touch stung.
✅PicoFraxel Pore Effect
Honestly, what I was most looking forward to was Pore reduction But, this didn't work as well as I thought.
If you look at the reviews “It helped with acne scars.” Some people say that, but many people say that they don't feel much of a difference in pores.
When I looked closely in the mirror, my skin texture seemed to have become slightly smoother, but it was difficult to say that my pores had shrunk.
So personally, I don't like it... ㅠㅠ
✅PicoFraxel cycle and price
Hospitals usually recommend that you receive the treatment at least three times at 3-4 week intervals to see results.
But since the average price per session is around 200,000 won, it is not cheap if you want to receive it several times.
In my case, I thought, “It’s not like I’ll see a drastic change all at once, so I’d rather get a different procedure than keep spending money like this.” lol
Honestly, I was not satisfied with the price of PicoFraxel.
✅ Summary of reasons for disliking PicoFraxel
- The procedure is very painful (even with anesthesia, it stings a lot ㅠㅠ)
- After the procedure, scabs form and the recovery period is long.
- The pore effect is less than expected.
- I need to get it done regularly, but the price is a burden.
Of course, it can vary depending on skin type, hospital equipment, and doctor's skill.
However, there are quite a few people who leave negative reviews like me, so if you are considering it, it is recommended that you read various reviews before making a decision.
✅Conclusion
I tried PicoFraxel hoping it would improve my pores, scars, and skin texture... but unfortunately, I didn't like it.
The pain, scabs, and discomfort of the recovery period were more significant than the benefits.
If you are considering it, I recommend that you carefully read the reviews and decide based on the price-to-performance ratio.
I don't think I'll get it again haha
