Choa announced her battle with cancer.

On the 14th, Choa, a former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, revealed her battle with cervical cancer on her personal social media channel.

Choa announced, "I was diagnosed with cancer at 33 years old," along with the statement, "Last May, during a prenatal checkup at the hospital I visited, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer."

Choa said, "I went through the most difficult time of my life, crying so much that I couldn't see ahead, but I didn't give up," and added, "I exercised daily and completely changed my diet to reduce the size of the cancer. Thanks to those efforts, the tumor was much smaller than expected during surgery, and miraculously, I was able to preserve my fertility."

Meanwhile, she added, "Cancer took away many things, but it also gave me great insights and lessons about the direction of my life. I am now living a much healthier and more vibrant life than before. I am soon to undergo another surgery to restore fertility. Although there are many challenges ahead for pregnancy and childbirth, I hope to meet a beautiful child, carry the title of mother, and be cured so that I can offer comfort and hope to those who have experienced similar situations."

Finally, I told those going through a very difficult and challenging time that all of this will eventually pass, and I urged them not to lose hope.

Meanwhile, Crayon Pop, which Choa belongs to, debuted in 2012 and caused a sensation as a girl group.
