Raise your hand if it hurts," but when the anesthetic injection actually went in, even the slightest sting made my heart pound. Still, the anesthesia took effect quickly, so I barely felt any pain, and the process of carving out and filling the cavity went more smoothly than I expected. Looking in the mirror after the treatment, I saw my tooth neatly filled, and it felt refreshing. I even thought, "I should have come sooner." My mouth felt a bit numb before the anesthesia wore off, but thankfully, it passed without any major discomfort. I was terrified of going to the dentist after such a long time, but once it was over, I felt much lighter and more relieved. From now on, I'll have the courage to go right away without delay if something seems a little off.
