Model and broadcaster Lee Hyun-yi (41) revealed herself drinking celery juice for health.

On the 21st, Lee Hyun-i posted a photo on his Instagram with the caption "Today is celery juice." The photo he shared showed Lee Hyun-i himself making celery juice by blending celery. Previously, Lee Hyun-i had stated, "I think my body has reached its limit," and "I have decided to start eating healthy foods from now on for my health." What health benefits might the celery that Lee Hyun-i is blending and drinking have?

 

First, celery is a "minus calorie" food with an absorption of calories in the body that is incomparable to other foods. The calorie content of celery itself is low, and a large amount of calories is naturally burned during digestion. The reason is that celery's tough skin is made of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber helps promote gastrointestinal motility without digestion in the body, and the absorbed calories are minimal. It stays in the stomach for a longer time and is digested slowly, providing a feeling of fullness for a long period. The phthalide components in celery also induce diuretic effects, making it effective in reducing swelling.


Furthermore, celery is rich in vitamin B1 and B2, which boost immunity, as well as carotene and iron. These components also facilitate blood flow and clean the cerebral blood vessels. The essential oil components that give celery its distinctive aroma are effective in calming nerves and relieving stress.     그냥 채소는 먹을 수 있을 거 같은데 다른 거는 잘 못 먹겠더라고요.. 그래도 꿀을 넣어서 먹으면 좋다고 하니까 한번 시도해보는 게 좋을 있겠네요..
