1. You can consume high-quality protein

Eggs are considered one of the cheapest foods to obtain protein. One egg contains 6 grams of high-quality protein, which means it provides amino acids.

 

Contains vitamin D

You can easily intake vitamin D through eggs. Eating one egg yolk can supplement 40 IU of vitamin D. The vitamin D contained in the yolk is also called cholecalciferol.

 

Calcitriol helps with calcium absorption and promotes bone growth. For this reason, there are studies suggesting that sufficient intake of vitamin D can lead to increased height. A deficiency in vitamin D can increase the risk of fractures as well as cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes.

 

3. Suppresses appetite

Eating eggs in the morning delays hunger longer than consuming grain-based foods such as pancakes or bagels. According to a study, men who ate eggs in the morning had lower hunger hormone levels and ate less at lunch compared to when they ate grain foods.

 

4. Good for eye health

Eggs are rich in lutein. Lutein has the effect of preventing macular degeneration, which is considered a major cause of vision loss. It also helps protect the eyes from damage caused by blue light emitted from smartphones and computers.

 

5. Instead, it lowers cholesterol.

The component called lecithin found in egg yolks also has the function of lowering blood cholesterol levels. According to research, cholesterol found in eggs and shellfish is not as harmful to health as previously thought. Additionally, choline, one of the B vitamin complexes contained in eggs, reduces the concentration of homocysteine in the blood, which is associated with arteriosclerosis.

 

6. Stretch the muscles

Humans begin to lose 5% of their muscle mass every ten years starting around age 30. As muscle decreases, fatigue and stamina decline. Exercise helps maintain muscle mass, but it must be accompanied by protein intake. As mentioned above, eggs provide high-quality protein.

    달걀은 완전 식품이라고들 하잖아요. 그만큼 몸에 많이 좋은 것 같습니다. 저는 특히 반숙보다는 완숙이 좋고 삶은 달걀을 특히나 좋아합니다. 주말부부라서 주말에 몰아서 먹고 있습니다.

    제 개인적으로 하루에 계란 한개이상은 간접적으로도 섭취가 된다고 생각해요 ᆢ 과자나  빵류등 계란이 적용되는 음식들이 너무 많죠 ᆢ그럼에도 계란찜이나 프라이 국에다 넣어먹는것도 너무 좋아해요 ᆢ근데 의사선생님은 계란섭취 주의하라고 하시더라구요
