캬~ 군침도네요!
Our secret to longevity~ Protect our family's health with healthy curry once a week
Everyone likes curry, right?
When I was young, my mom would make curry filled with vegetables and thick meat in a big pot~
It tastes good and is very nutritious!! So I enjoyed eating it.
Making curry is just a hassle because of preparing the vegetables, but even I who am really bad at cooking can make it easily.
A curry that allows our first and second children to eat vegetables evenly and includes turmeric~
Getting kids to eat vegetables is really troublesome and they often refuse to eat them.
It's good because you can eat it well with kimbap or curry, and you can also finish it quickly.
My mother also wakes up early in the morning to feed me vegetables and usually prepares kimbap.
I vividly remember the evenings when you would cook curry for us.
My mother struggled to make ends meet with only my father's income and stepped into the frontline of daily life.
It's become harder to encounter frequently, haha.
Did you know that the turmeric in curry can also help with stomach aches?
I saw somewhere that eating curry only once a week can prevent stomach upset.
Maybe because I came out of my mother's womb two months early when I was young, my stomach is very weak.
I handle stomach aches well and also get indigestion very easily, so I always carry digestive medicine.
My mom used to prick my hand with a needle often... ㅠ_ㅠ
In high school, perhaps because I became more sensitive, I experienced not only diarrhea but also...
I think I've fainted in the bathroom a few times due to a twisted intestine (bowel obstruction)...
(If I really lose my mind... it hurts so much I could faint. Really... ㅠㅠ)
Just as I managed to snap out of it and come outside, my mom saw me completely pale and white and was surprised.
I remember taking him to the Korean medicine clinic and being told that he has had a weak stomach since birth.
Even when I was constipated, I also experienced a headache, to the point where I really wanted to smash my head because it was so painful.
While working at the company, I was hospitalized twice in the emergency room after collapsing on someone else's back due to stomach cramps...
So, it was necessary to keep the intestines healthy.
There is curry as a way to take care of health in everyday life.
When the first child is somewhat grown and the second is young, I make sure to feed both evenly, and they also enjoy curry well.
Making curry with just kimchi makes it easy to eat rice quickly.
I think I've started eating curry almost once a week. It has probably been about three years now.
Eating curry almost every week has led to the surprising disappearance of occasional stomach aches.
I cook rice by placing rice in the rice cooker.
We always eat multigrain rice for the sake of our health.
Peel potatoes, carrots, zucchini, and onions, then cut them into bite-sized pieces suitable for children.
After roasting with unsalted butter and cooking for a while, add the pork for curry and stir-fry together.
Pour a small amount of water and bring it to a boil.
When I was young, I think I used to enjoy Ottogi mild flavor and slightly spicy curry.
Really familiar Ottogi curry~ haha
First, when I was young, I think it was because I was the oldest, starting with weaning.
Buying organic vegetables and eco-friendly products from HanSalim or Green Village
I ate Green Village Curry, and it was really delicious.
Not spicy, so kids eat it well, and it's very delicious for adults' tastes!!
I have also tried HanSalim or Nature Dream curry, but I think the curry powder from Chroemareul is the best.
It's always a competitive product when it comes out as a special planning price due to its price range.
The curry powder contains more than 50% turmeric.
While waiting for the vegetable and meat stew to boil, I dissolve the curry powder and prepare it.
I used to dig really hard with a spoon and chopsticks before.
These days, curry powder has improved so that it doesn't clump even when dissolved directly in water.
Still, like a habit, I always eat curry. Haha
Once the vegetables and meat are fully cooked, pour in the curry broth~
While monitoring the concentration, add a little more water and stir vigorously to prevent sticking.
Prepare the bowl while gently simmering the fire until it just starts to boil.
How many years has that bowl been around? The bowl is really pretty, isn't it?
This is the perfect bowl for eating curry.. My three siblings and I used to eat curry here when we were little~ haha
Wow... That's definitely over 30 years old!
My mom had it and gave it to our house~~
Our children today probably won't choose whether it's peas, eggplant, carrots, or pumpkin...
Anyway, they choose a bowl and pour rice and curry into it to eat.
Put the rice on one side, and also serve the spicy fermented kimchi that goes perfectly with curry.
Pour a generous amount of curry on one side for a delicious and nutritious healthy meal!
I looked up the benefits of curry.
Everyone knows that turmeric, called the golden food, is used in curry, right?
In our country, it is called turmeric, but Indian turmeric is said to be slightly more effective.
Turmeric! What's so good about it?
This is the first effect of improving stomach function.
It is said to greatly aid our stomach digestion activity. Turmeric contains anti-inflammatory ingredients, making it excellent for digestion.
The natural digestive aid! For those who frequently suffer from stomach aches or have sluggish intestinal movement, there is nothing better.
So these days, I think my stomach aches have really~~ decreased.
The second benefit of turmeric is that it is good for women's ailments.
It is said to be excellent for relieving menstrual pain. It is good for women with cold bodies and helps alleviate menstrual cramps! Oh~~~
So, has the menstrual pain that occurred every two or three months also disappeared?
It is said to be good for the prevention of third cancer and dementia!
The yellow color of turmeric is said to come from the curcumin component, which is said to inhibit the formation of protein complexes that cause cancer in terms of anticancer effects. Additionally, the strongly fragrant curcumin prevents the destruction of nerve cells in the brain, promotes their growth, and helps prevent dementia. Curcumin also eliminates reactive oxygen species that damage cells in the body, thereby preventing aging.
The fourth is the effect of hangover relief.
There are research results that have revealed a relationship between turmeric and hangover relief. These days, many hangover drinks use turmeric as an ingredient, and it is also said to have a liver-protective effect.
Fifth, good for heart health
It plays a role in excreting moisture and sodium from our body, and is said to have the effect of clearing the blood. It also helps to lower cholesterol and promote smooth blood circulation. It keeps the arteries healthy and is rich in nutrients such as iron and various vitamins, which also have the effect of relieving inflammation in the body.
It is said to be good even for sixth diabetes.
Curcumin and clove, which help regulate blood sugar levels, are said to improve insulin resistance and lower blood sugar.
It is said to be good for improving the seventh depression.
One of the benefits of curcumin is its effective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in treating depression, as it promotes the production of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which can help improve depression.
Good job on the eighth diet!
These days, Hollywood stars are also doing the curry diet. The capsaicin component that gives curry its spiciness helps to accelerate our body's metabolism, burn calories, and fat. In particular, it lowers cholesterol levels, helps regulate blood sugar, and aids in preventing various adult diseases.
Really incredible benefits!! Recognized as a health food!
But we should also look into the side effects, right?
Curry may contain a lot of salt and sugar.
People with chronic conditions such as hypertension or diabetes need to regulate their intake.
Or, by looking at the ingredients of the curry, it would be much better to buy a powder with less salt and sugar and make it yourself, right?
For spicy curry, if your digestion is weak, it may cause irritation, so those with weak digestion are advised to eat milder curry.
This is our healthy home meal plan! I introduced it to you~
I skipped last week because I was busy.
Wednesday this week is curry-making day~~ I will make it delicious and enjoy it ^^
