아이들이 햄 좋아해서 한번씩 주는데 가공육이 안 좋다하니 자제해야겠어요. 적색육과 피자, 햄버거, 케이크 등 아이들이 다 죄다 좋아하는 것들이네요.
4 Foods Cancer Experts Unanimously Advise Against
Your daily dietary choices can increase or decrease your risk of cancer. Matthew Lambert, a nutritionist and health information officer at the World Cancer Research Fund, shares some delicious but potentially carcinogenic foods.
▷Processed meat
cow Processed meats, such as shredded beef, bacon, and beef jerky, are representative cancer-causing foods. In fact, in 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a subsidiary of the World Health Organization (WHO), classified processed meats as a Group 2A carcinogen. Processed meats are characterized by various cooking methods, such as salting and smoking, to enhance flavor and preservation. The WHO explained that these processes can produce carcinogenic chemicals. Furthermore, the IARC reported that consuming more than 50 grams of processed meat daily increases the risk of cancer by 18%. Consequently, the American Heart Association recommends limiting processed meat consumption to less than 100 grams per week.
▷Alcohol
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), alcohol consumption can cause cancer of the larynx, esophagus, colon, rectum, and liver. Dr. Lambert recommends abstaining from alcohol altogether, noting that even small amounts can increase the risk of cancer. If alcohol consumption is unavoidable, women should limit themselves to one drink per day, and men to two. Seniors over the age of 65 should also limit their consumption to no more than one drink per day.
▷Red meat
ji In 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified both processed meat and red meat as Group 2A carcinogens. The IARC reported that red meat, such as beef and pork, is linked not only to colorectal cancer but also to pancreatic and prostate cancers. Nutritionist Lambert stated that the heme iron in red meat promotes the production of carcinogenic chemicals. Heme iron is what gives red meat its red color. The IARC recommends limiting red meat consumption to 350-500g per week.
▷Foods high in sugar and fat
Foods high in sugar and fat can increase the risk of obesity, which can lead to cancer. Being overweight and obese are well-known to increase the risk of various diseases, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. Experts believe that excess body fat caused by obesity can cause hormonal changes, which can lead to cancer. In fact, according to the National Health Insurance Service, obese people are 1.9 times more likely to develop colon cancer than non-obese people. Nutritionist Lambert advised people to limit their intake of high-sugar, high-fat foods like cakes, cookies, pizza, and hamburgers.
====================
Fortunately, I don't really like processed meats.
Is it red meat?
Pork, beef... I think it tastes better than chicken...
I'm glad I only consume less than 350-500g per week.
