When I tell people about lifestyle habits that help them age slowly, there is a question I often get asked.

Establish and maintain lifestyle habits such as light and simple meals, sufficient physical activity, and restorative sleep.

The question is whether the stress itself can actually make you sick.

This question is mostly asked by people in their 20s and 30s, who want to relieve stress and enjoy the moment.

The hidden meaning is that living is actually a better life. In fact, it's the opposite.

What healthy eating, physical activity, restorative sleep, abstinence, and clearing your head have in common is rather

It can lower the levels of stress hormones in our bodies.

In fact, the biggest reason why modern people unknowingly accelerate the aging process is
Chronic stress can be cited as an example. Late afternoon, after a hectic day at work,
I start scrolling through my smartphone without even noticing.

When I lose focus and find myself juggling tasks, I sometimes wonder if I have dementia.
My eyes are drawn to my smartphone, and I can't help but think of sweet, oily food or a cold beer.
The more you indulge in these kinds of stimulation, the more tired and depressed you become.

In this vicious cycle, physical activity decreases, sleep quality deteriorates, and diet quality declines.
Everyone living in this era has probably had similar experiences. This vicious cycle creates a chain reaction.
The way to create a virtuous cycle by cutting off various elements and turning them around is ultimately to completely improve lifestyle habits.
As your overall lifestyle habits become healthier, not only will your stress decrease,
The body and mind's resilience improves, and the aging process naturally slows down.

However, the story that healthy lifestyle habits can actually cause illness can sometimes be true.

Just as anything good can be poisonous if overdone,

When the rejection and fear of aging or disease spreads into excessive discipline and obsession with life in general,

At some point, the roles of subject and object are reversed and the quality of life begins to decline.

This is the case of Mr. A, a man in his 60s who visited the clinic because he was experiencing various frustrations despite doing his best to stay healthy.

He said that he always feels tired, but he always watches health-related media and reads every book on 'anti-aging'.

Although I don't have any particular illness, I was eating mainly vegetables and grains.

In addition, he said that he walks for two hours a day.

He was very thin, to the point where he could be considered malnourished.

I was taking a handful of vitamins and supplements every day.

The list filled a whole page of notes. I was doing everything that was supposed to be good for my health.

A loud voice comes out, saying that he doesn't know why he is not feeling well.

After listening to the story in more detail, I found out that she was originally chubby, but two years ago, she was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and hyperlipidemia.

After listening to the advice, I was able to lose about 15 kg of weight and maintain it by not taking medication.

When I got tested, I found that not only my muscle mass but also my bone density was significantly reduced.

In the end, each and every component of lifestyle was not a problem, but the means and

The goal has been reversed, which has harmed our overall health.

Ultimately, the most urgent prescription for Mr. A is to restore a natural balance close to moderation.

A proposal to create a TV program about lifestyle habits that can eradicate aging, that can eradicate aging.

I often receive suggestions to write books about science and technology.

This perspective misses the point and reinforces negative thinking about aging.

Professor Becca Levy has shown that by making people look at their age positively for just 10 minutes,

It was said that it could improve people's memory, physical functions, and even their will to live.

When we accept the year as a time of completion that we deserve to enjoy, rather than something to be rejected,

Only then may our society be able to age sustainably.
