Intraocular pressure after retinal surgery

A friend's son suddenly had retinal surgery, but fortunately he successfully overcame the crisis of blindness.

Fortunately, it was caught early during a regular check-up, so surgery was possible.

However, I heard that the intraocular pressure remains high after the surgery and the patient is hospitalized, and I think it might be due to the steroid prescription.
