There was no family history or significant symptoms related to the stomach, so I was very relaxed about it. Therefore, even during checkups, I had never undergone an endoscopy, but I felt that I should get one just in case, as I was experiencing symptoms of gastritis. I couldn't be sure whether it was gastritis or a stomach ulcer.
After undergoing endoscopy, my stomach was not in good condition. I regretted being so indifferent about it and felt very upset. Although aging also contributed to the poor condition of my stomach, overall it was not good. I also had Helicobacter pylori, so I had to take medication. At the same time, I needed to treat the stomach ulcer as well.
I heard it's called a peptic gastric ulcer. There are symptoms like heartburn, indigestion, and loss of appetite, and I experienced indigestion symptoms. It is said that bleeding can occur due to gastric ulcers, but I haven't had such an experience. I plan to undergo periodic endoscopic examinations in the future, and I also removed a bump-like thing from the upper part of my stomach and completed a tissue biopsy.
This person is particularly important to prevent gastric ulcers, especially by avoiding stress. It has been over five years since I experienced a sudden increase in stress. Due to family issues, I suddenly faced significant stress, and I think it may have affected my stomach. Since I tend to be sensitive, I have had to handle a lot of things on my own, which has caused immense stress that I haven't been able to release, and this has negatively impacted my body, especially leading to gastric ulcers.
So, to prevent stress, I always go for walks and take strolls. When I walk slowly, I try to shake off my worries and give myself complete rest. I felt that relieving stress is the most important thing.
I am also paying more attention to my food than before. I try to avoid spicy and salty foods as much as possible, and I prepare my meals thinking that bland is better.
Especially, I am paying more attention to my digestion by eating fresh vegetables more frequently than before. I also make sure to drink cabbage juice regularly.
I believe that stress relief and proper diet management are important for preventing stomach health issues and gastric ulcers. I hope everyone maintains good lifestyle habits and regular exercise to stay healthy..^^
