[Concern] I feel like my stomach is heavy even just drinking water.

The family is suffering because their stomach is not well.

Regular endoscopic examinations suggest that stomach function is poor and the stomach wall appears generally red.

 

 

Recently, I only drank water, but I felt like the water was getting stuck in my stomach, so I had an endoscopy again. It was found that the inside of my stomach was narrowed, and on one side, there was a thick, lump-like mass that was removed with the endoscope.

 

The doctor told me not to eat anything strange, like herbal medicine.

You usually don't take herbal medicine or anything like that, and you only have meals, fruits, or simple snacks.

 

The doctor told me to go to a general hospital, so I made an appointment at a university hospital, and they scheduled it for a month later.

 

You have regular meals, and you always take stomach medication before and after eating.

 

Why does a watery, thin substance get stuck in the stomach?

I don't really understand the feeling of getting sick just from drinking water.

Why is the inside area narrow? I don't have any information yet about the treatment since I haven't had the examination.

Is it related to esophageal rigidity? Esophageal stenosis?

There are no symptoms of vomiting, so I don't think it's pyloric stenosis.
