Post-chemotherapy review after pancreatic cancer surgery

Chemotherapy began about a month after undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery.

The first time visiting the Hematology-Oncology Department

The first thing to do when you go to the Hematology-Oncology Department is a blood test.

The test results should show a normal white blood cell count.

Liver function tests should be accurate, and blood sugar levels are also checked.

If even one thing doesn't come out properly, I ruthlessly move on to the next week.

Or get an injection called white blood cell count.

I went for chemotherapy two days after having a blood test.

They said I can't do it because my liver enzyme levels are high ㅠ

The professor told me to try stopping the cholesterol medication.

I really didn't know that cholesterol-lowering medication could raise liver enzyme levels that much.

The cholesterol-lowering medication was stopped, and the liver function tests returned to normal as if they had never been elevated.

I have returned after taking cholesterol medication for more than 10 years.

How much have I overworked my liver all this time? I'm so sorry ㅠ

The injection takes about an hour.

Why does it take so long for the pain reliever and chemotherapy to be administered over 30 minutes each?

It's really hell; some people only get four hours of sleep.

I heard there are people who match 7 hours.

Fortunately, I haven't lost much hair.

There was no need to wear a wig.

Feeling drowsy while driving after getting a shot.

Some indescribable feeling of discomfort

As soon as I arrive, I just collapse and sleep for a few hours before waking up.

Getting a little better, endlessly sinking into sleep

During chemotherapy, I don't have a stomachache.

During chemotherapy, any food can suppress the medication.

It is said that there are no side effects.

Alternating between chemotherapy injections and injections to raise white blood cell counts

First round, second round, third round, fourth round, fifth round, sixth round, three weeks of matches, one week break, and so on.

After completing 18 rounds of chemotherapy, I am celebrating my first year.

Received an injection after removing the lymph nodes from the right arm due to breast cancer.

They said it couldn't be right.

So, I received injections only in my left arm for 8 months.

So even now, when I go for a blood test, my veins become hardened.

The needle won't go in. Others get injections in both arms.

Blood test, chemotherapy injection, and white blood cell injection on only one arm, the left arm.

It was a year of suffering.

It is said that once you get cancer, it is easy to get it again.

I wonder if it's because my immunity is weak.

I feel like I have passed through a long tunnel.

So today, I am living diligently again.

To those who may be reading this, please take care of your health.
