저도 집에 항상 매실액기스 챙겨두고 먹네요
I relieved indigestion and stomach ache with plum extract~ a cure-all^^
I have occasionally visited Cashdoc during that time, so it's been a while since I wrote an event post, and I don't know if anyone has already written a daily efficacy post.
I'm just sharing my own annual digestive medication routine.
Many people know that plum is good for you. However, even knowing this, making plum extract yourself or doing such things can be bothersome and difficult.
May to June is the plum harvest season.
The period when the medicinal effects of plums are the strongest is June. The plums used for plum syrup are greenish in color, known as green plums, which contain the most nutrients. Therefore, make plum extract during the season when green plums are available.
When washing plum blossoms, it's good to soak them in vinegar water. Vinegar is said to have various sterilization effects^^
After thoroughly washing the plum, remove as much water as possible and dry or wipe it, then remove the stem. Although it may be inconvenient, it is more hygienic than leaving the stem on.
Plum and sugar should be layered roughly in a 1:1 ratio, starting with the plums first, then the sugar, stacking them in that order.
Starting the next day, the sugar began to melt, and I flipped and mixed it once in a while, but I didn't stir it.
Ta-da~😁
This is the plum extract I made.
Plum extract has a shelf life of about three years. If stored properly, it is said to become more beneficial for health the older it gets. I keep it stored in the refrigerator.
I'm so proud when I see the plum extract stored like this^^
How is it? The color is so pretty, right?^^
Expensive wine, step aside~ lol
Whenever I have a stomachache or indigestion
I dilute plum extract with water at a 5:1 ratio and drink it. It's a secret recipe my mom always made for me when I was young. So, it became a habit and routine even when I grew up.
And they say that drinking about two glasses a day in normal times is good for health.
What are the benefits of drinking plum extract like this?
Benefits of plum extract, plum tea, and plum syrup
Natural Digestive Aid
Plum helps promote digestive juices, aiding indigestion, and is also good for stomach disorders. It also helps regulate excessive stomach acid, making it effective for overeating or stomach upset, and by stimulating intestinal movement, it is said to help with constipation.
Liver function and fatigue recovery medication
The organic acids in plum help to stimulate metabolism, aiding in fatigue recovery, and the citric acid and malic acid in plums assist calcium absorption, which is depleted due to stress. Additionally, they help restore liver function and have detoxifying effects, contributing to hangover relief.
Detoxification process
Plum contains a trace component called picrocinic acid, which plays a role in breaking down toxic substances. It helps eliminate three types of toxins: food toxins, blood toxins, and water toxins, thereby preventing and treating food poisoning, indigestion, and related ailments.
📍Aging Prevention
Plum contains abundant citric acid and various minerals, which stimulate hormone secretion and promote active metabolism, making it effective in preventing aging.
Adult Disease Prevention
Plum contains abundant citric acid, malic acid, succinic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium, and zinc, which help eliminate waste products from the blood, purify the blood, and are also good for preventing arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and adult diseases.
📍Alkaline foods
Plum is a representative alkaline food with many benefits, including sterilization and antibacterial effects, so how about drinking plum tea instead of beverages during the summer?
There are so many great benefits of plum, right?
However, unripe plums contain a toxin called arsenic, which can cause stomach upset, so caution is necessary.
Overdose may cause knee joint damage and other issues, so even good medication should be taken in moderation.
So, I drink about two glasses a day.
After drinking, I also rinse my mouth with water.
Since I was young, it seems that mothers have already known all these advantages from experience even without the internet. They say it's a habit passed down from grandmothers.^^
