(Concern) Do I really have to get my wisdom tooth extracted?
My wisdom tooth is only coming out on the lower side. The left side seems to be coming out relatively normally, but on the right side, even when I check with a mirror, I can see that the tooth is tilted. Because of this, food sometimes gets stuck and doesn't come out easily.
Yes~ In the past, about once a year, the gums around my wisdom tooth would swell, making it hard to eat and causing me trouble. One time, after suffering for a week and unable to bear it, I went to the dentist to have it pulled out. Since it was swollen, they told me to take anti-inflammatory medication and wait for the swelling to go down before pulling it out, so I just took the medication. After the swelling went down, I didn't go back to the dentist, haha.
So, nearly 20 years have passed like this. In the past ten years or more, I haven't experienced swelling or pain like before.
They don't really talk about stars during health checkups, maybe because they just glance over things...
Currently, I am doing well, but if I get older and my teeth become weaker, and I have to get them pulled later, will it be more difficult and cause bigger problems?
Or should I just continue as I have been so far?
