[Tooth Care Items] Oral-B electric toothbrush, dental floss, and wisdom tooth brush.

Getting a scaling once a year is really good, but if you take good care of your teeth every day, you can have clean and healthy teeth without needing a scaling!

 

So I manage it carefully every day.

At first, I manage with dental floss. I prefer floss over interdental brushes. If the gaps are wide, you're advised to use interdental brushes, but most people don't really know how to use them properly. Even if they do, floss tends to clean better than interdental brushes. Interdental brushes tend to be floppy and wipe the area, while floss cleans directly. In fact, many people don't know how to use floss properly. Take about 30 centimeters of floss, wrap it around the middle fingers of both hands, and use the index fingers and thumbs to guide it. Starting from the innermost molars, floss between all the teeth from the back to the front, moving side to side along the gum line and up and down to remove debris. After flossing both the upper and lower teeth, rinse your mouth with water.

 

Then, gently brush the boundary area between the teeth and gums with a regular toothbrush. A very small amount of toothpaste is sufficient. In fact, using too much toothpaste can interfere with brushing and is not good for your health. Carefully clean the boundary areas from the inside of the molars to the front teeth, including the lip side of the gum line, the palate, and the tongue side. Even if it takes some time, make sure to brush thoroughly.

 

There are always areas that are difficult to clean thoroughly, even when you brush carefully. For those areas, use a wisdom tooth toothbrush to clean them once more.

I also have wisdom teeth, so I always use it. Wisdom tooth brushes are small and pointed, making them effective for cleaning the boundary between teeth and gums. That's why I use it regularly!

Please use the wisdom tooth toothbrush to clean the very end of the wisdom tooth and the boundary area between the tooth and gums once more. Also, make sure to brush the inside of the lower front teeth, which is the area where plaque accumulates the most. Honestly, the wisdom tooth toothbrush cleans better than a regular toothbrush.

 

And finally, I finish with a tongue cleaner. I use two types of tongue cleaners, and I use both of them to complete the process.

  

I use my Oral-B electric toothbrush once a week without fail. I set the vibration to the lowest setting and use it during the regular brushing stage. When I use the Oral-B electric toothbrush, I brush so thoroughly that I don't need to use my love toothbrush, so I go straight to the tongue cleaner.

 

If you manage it well like this, it will stay clean without scaling. It's been three years since I last had scaling, and I received the result that there was no tartar even during this health check-up.

No matter how good implants are, natural teeth are the best! Periodontal care is really important! Sometimes there are people who only use dental floss two or three times a week, but you need to floss every day! Even missing a day of flossing allows plaque to build up between your teeth. That plaque accumulates and turns into tartarㅠ

Actually, as someone working in the related industry, I feel quite sorry when I see people who don't brush their teeth well. I sincerely hope that even the members reading my post will brush their teeth carefully and maintain their natural teeth, so I ended up talking at length.. ^^
