Sharing my top dental health tips (for me and my kids)

1. I also take my toothbrush and other oral hygiene tools when I go out.

 

I bring my toothbrush and other oral hygiene tools whenever I go to a cafe or a restaurant.

I brush my teeth even if it's just for a moment when I go to the bathroom.

Especially when I go to a cafe and eat something sweet, I have to do it.

 

2. Avoid biting into hard foods with your front teeth whenever possible

 

Some dentists say that front teeth are just accessories.

They say that's how it is because the front teeth are so weak and use the front teeth.

It seems that eating bears is deadly.

No other dentist I know cuts fruit into pieces to eat in one bite, without using the front teeth.

I also try to be careful with my front teeth whenever possible.

 

Use dental floss, interdental brushes, and tongue cleaners

 

There are many foods that cannot be removed with brushing alone, so I use dental floss.

I use it, and as I get older, the space between my teeth becomes...

It has spread, so I even use interdental brushes.

Remove the bad stuff on your tongue with a tongue cleaner.

It cleans the inside of the mouth.

 

4. Be sure to eat xylitol powder before bed

 

It's been about five years since my family started eating xylitol powder.

It seems that my family members have congenital dental issues.

It's weak, but brush your teeth in the evening and make sure to use xylitol powder.

I eat, so maybe that's why the children have never had cavities. At first, I was skeptical.

Xylitol is a sweetener that has no nutritional value at all.

They say bacteria die after consuming xylitol.

Xylitol is sold online in powder form. If it's inconvenient or difficult to sprinkle the powder every time, you can dissolve the xylitol, let it harden, and then eat it like candy. Please try searching for this.

 

 

Visit the dentist once a year

 

Even if there are no symptoms, it is recommended to visit the dentist for a check-up once in a while. If you haven't been in a few years, you might have a lot of decay by then.

I think it's best to treat it gradually over time.

 

 

If there's something covered, cut it once every ten years.

 

Crowns are a bit expensive, but I get them done once every ten years. When I remove the covering, I find that the inside is sometimes decayed. I'm very relieved if it doesn't decay. After ten years, the teeth tend to spread out a lot, trapping food and preventing further decay.

These days, implants are done well, but still, my own teeth are better.

It's better to have it.

 

Rinse with warm water when rinsing

 

I was shocked when I saw a quiz question before stating that warm water removes bacteria more effectively. People usually rinse with cold water, but they use warm water with a boiler.

You don't rinse it, do you?

So I rinse with warm water only in the evening.

 

8. Brush your teeth once more with a clean toothbrush after the final rinse.

 

I saw it on TV some time ago, and an elderly person was very healthy teeth. One of the secrets they shared was to thoroughly wash the toothbrush and then brush one more time with that toothbrush at the end. I tried it myself, and I felt like my teeth became a bit cleaner.

 

Brush my teeth within 3 minutes after dinner.

 

Someone who did an experiment somewhere, ate dinner, didn't brush their teeth, and then brushed them before going to bed, and someone who ate dinner after brushing their teeth.

The difference in the number of bacteria in the mouth between people who don't brush their teeth and those who do is quite similar. However, people who brush their teeth immediately after dinner have significantly fewer bacteria. Therefore, I make sure to brush my teeth within three minutes after eating dinner.

 

Rinsing 10 times

 

Be sure to rinse your toothbrush at least ten times when rinsing.

If the ingredients of toothpaste remain in the mouth, they can become food for bacteria and may cause tooth decay.

 

11. Brush your teeth immediately after drinking a cafe latte

 

They say that the milk in a cafe latte causes it to spoil quickly.

I drink a latte every day, and after I finish, they always brush my teeth.

    식후 3분안에 이 닦는건 정말 지키기 힘들고요
    라떼 마시고 바로 이닦으려면 카페에서 바로 화장실로 가야하는건데 요것도 힘들겠어요
    양치 마지막에 깨끗이 씻은 칫솔로 한번 더 닦는건 실천해 봐야겠어요
