저는 1년마나 한번씩 하먼서 중치 검사도 같이해요
I need to get a scaling, but I'm unsure about the frequency.
I go to the dentist regularly.
The cycle is approximately every 4 to 6 months.
During the check-up five months ago, scaling was performed, and during this examination, it was suggested to do scaling again because tartar between the teeth was visible.
Regarding the fee, during the process of removing tartar, I used instruments to clean between the teeth and gums.
I feel chills and find friction sounds and mechanical noises unbearably frightening.
Thinking about that incident while writing this makes my hair stand on end and gives me a bad feeling.
In a word, I find it extremely disgusting.
Despite my feelings, I was told to get scaling after five months, so I strongly told them that I didn't want to do it this time because there are no uncomfortable areas in my teeth and I brush three times a day during my checkup. I wonder, should I have done it?? I feel a bit conflicted.
The nurse mentioned that scaling can be done every three months or twice a year covered by health insurance, and she reiterated that she would like to proceed with it. She seemed to find my hesitation a bit strange.
Scaling after five months...
Was it an excess on the part of the nurse?
Was it something I did?
I thought it was not right, so I refused.
Was it right to do this scaling??
