Ask Cashdoc [Cholesterol Medication ๐ and Allergies]
My legs have been numb for a long time, and I had a varicose vein test at the thoracic surgery department, but they said it's not enough to require surgery. However, I am still suffering from persistent numbness and pain.
But one day, my sister contacted me and said she saw on TV that high cholesterol could also cause leg numbness.
After a thorough internet search, I also became aware of the same information.
However, hyperlipidemia is considered normal below 220, and my level is 230, which is not too high. I have severe allergies, so I took medication for about a month and then stopped. After about two years, my allergies improved, and my hyperlipidemia level remains around 230.
I'm managing my exercise and diet well, but my numbers aren't going down.
So, I'm ๊ณ ๋ฏผ์ ๋๋ค. Is there no way?
I'm not sure what to do about taking the medication because of my allergy.
