I'm trying to make an effort to prevent prediabetes.

I had a metabolic syndrome test at the public health center a few days ago.
I measured my fasting blood sugar level, and the number was normal, but it was close to pre-diabetes.
I decided to get medical advice and improve my diet and exercise to prevent prediabetes.
A few days ago, I went to the public health center to get tested for metabolic syndrome, and my cholesterol and blood sugar levels came out a little low. I had other problems before, but I never had any problems with cholesterol or blood sugar. But this time, I measured my fasting blood sugar level, and I was surprised to see that the number was quite high. The doctor there also gave me a lot of advice on preventing prediabetes, and the doctors who counseled me on diet and exercise management all told me a lot of things. But since the term "prediabetes prevention" was already in my head, I couldn't listen to it. My levels are normal and I can't feel any symptoms of diabetes yet, but there is definitely a problem, so I went straight to the internal medicine doctor. I just had a simple test, and my levels were actually lower than when I got tested for metabolic syndrome. Still, it wasn't a completely normal level that could be completely reassuring. That's why I was diagnosed with a combination of diet and exercise to prevent prediabetes. Otherwise, I would have to take diabetes medication and manage it for the rest of my life. I've watched a lot of related videos, so I know that it's important to completely normalize blood sugar and cholesterol levels in the early stages to prevent prediabetes. To start preventing prediabetes, I decided to pay more attention to the exercise I had been doing little by little. I thought I should make an effort to gradually reduce snacks, fried foods made with flour, and simple sugars. When I received counseling, I was told that you can't feel changes in diabetes symptoms even in the prediabetic stage until you actually develop diabetes. That's why people say, "This is strange," and don't know they have diabetes until they feel symptoms. This is why preventing prediabetes feels so important. In my case, I may have been very lucky. Since I don't usually check my blood sugar levels except for health checkups, I think it was a great fortune to be able to detect it early, even before it reached the prediabetic stage. I worked hard to exercise and control my diet. So I thought I should get back to normal. I hope you all always check up on yourself to prevent prediabetes, eat lots of vegetables, and exercise.
