I've recently increased my exercise routine to maintain my stamina, but after exercising, my legs continue to feel stiff and sore. Muscle pain is a natural part of the body, but I'm worried because the pain doesn't go away even after a few days, and I have trouble walking. It's especially painful when I go up and down stairs, and I feel a pulling sensation from my calves to my thighs. I'm wondering if it's simply a muscle strain or if my exercise form is incorrect. Stretching hasn't helped much, so I'm worried I might be overexerting myself. I'd like to know when I should seek medical attention.
