Many people suffer from colds during the change of seasons with drastic temperature differences, right? When clear nasal discharge persists, you should suspect allergic rhinitis. These symptoms can also appear nowadays when indoor air conditioning is intense and it's hot outside.
I often drink tea during seasonal changes or in seasons with significant temperature fluctuations to prevent allergic rhinitis. Let me introduce three types of teas that are good for rhinitis.
First, green tea, oolong tea, and black tea. Tea leaves processed from tea trees contain catechin components, known for their anti-allergic properties, and polyphenols, which are antioxidants, and are said to help alleviate allergy symptoms. According to research by Professor Miura at Oomori University in Japan (50% reduction in allergy symptoms) and animal experiments by Professor Kim Hyung-min of Wonkwang University's Department of Herbal Medicine, the anti-allergic effects of green tea have been demonstrated.
The next recommended tea is ginger tea.
Ginger is rich in vitamin C and magnesium. Vitamin C helps inhibit the release and action of histamine, aiding in allergy relief, and promotes peripheral blood vessels to warm the body, improving blood circulation and helping to improve immune hypersensitivity reactions.
Finally, I recommend jujube tea.
Jujubes contain a lot of vitamins A, B, C, saponins, calcium, and magnesium, which help soothe inflammation in the nasal mucosa, strengthen the nasal mucosa, and promote blood circulation, making the body feel warmer. Jujubes are also rich in dietary fiber, which is said to have detoxifying properties by adsorbing carcinogenic substances in the body. To prepare, put 10 jujubes into 3 cups of water, simmer for two to three hours, then strain and drink only the cold water.
I hope my tips will help those suffering from allergic rhinitis. Thank you.
