I saw a post saying that the life sentence for the taxi robbery has been confirmed, so I checked what it was.

 

The suspect in the long-unsolved taxi robbery and murder case has been caught for 160,000 won.

In the first trial, the sentence was 30 years in prison, and in the second trial, life imprisonment for taxi robbery.

 

The Supreme Court has judged that even with mitigation, life imprisonment is not unjust.

 

A taxi driver was murdered with a weapon under the Incheon overpass and the suspect fled.

And after 16 years, the culprit was caught, and the two suspects were sentenced to life imprisonment.

The incident occurred on July 1, 2007, in Namchon-dong, Namdong-gu, Imcheon.

It is reported that they robbed a taxi driver of 60,000 won in cash and murdered him.

 

It was truly an unbelievable incident, but fortunately, the life sentence for the taxi robbery has been confirmed, so I'm glad.

The police identified and arrested a suspect for the robbery and murder case last year, after 16 years.

The police have reportedly accumulated over 25,000 pages of investigation records in their efforts to solve unsolved cases.
