I think soybean paste stew is an essential healthy dish for Koreans. Everyone knows that fermented foods are good for you, and with a variety of healthy vegetables added, it can't be anything but beneficial.
I should cook and eat doenjang jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew) myself once or twice a week. I wish I could make the soybean paste myself... but that's impossible ㅠㅠ Use only the lean parts of beef to minimize fat as much as possible. Make the broth with anchovies and kelp for a richer umami flavor~ Today, I added radish, potatoes, onions, cabbage, sweet pumpkin, Cheongyang chili peppers, and tofu to the doenjang jjigae~ It's great to be able to include various ingredients in one bowl. Isn't doenjang jjigae a longevity food? Haha
