"Huh" Six foods that will make you gain weight if you eat them without knowing

I think this is good information for those on a diet, so I am sharing it.

Please let me know if there is any part that is problematic~

I eat nuts every day, but since eating too much is high in calories, I set a limit on the amount I eat.

I should also be careful with low-fat, low-calorie foods~

Losing weight is hard, but eating is good lol

I wish I didn't enjoy eating so much..

Don't eat too much and just eat everything in moderation and healthily... It's an easy principle, but it's hard to stick to, right? Haha

Good luck to everyone on a healthy diet!

Are there any foods known to be good for health that can actually cause weight gain?

Nuts and seeds are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and various trace nutrients. Unsaturated fatty acids promote blood circulation and prevent the oxidation of cholesterol in the blood, making them healthy fats, but they are high in calories. For example, one cup of almonds contains about 826 kcal. While nuts and seeds contain beneficial nutrients for the body, they are easy to overeat and high in calories, so it is important to consume them in moderation. About a handful a day is appropriate.

Similarly to peanut butter, nut-based peanut butter contains healthy fats but is very high in calories. Two large spoons of peanut butter contain 188 kcal and 16 grams of fat. If you casually dip bread or apples into peanut butter, the calorie content can increase two or three times. You should only consume about one spoonful per day.

According to the American Heart Association, the recommended serving size for cereal is one cup. However, the calorie content of organic and gluten-free cereals and granola is mostly 150 kcal per third of a cup. Consuming one cup of cereal or granola would amount to 450 kcal excluding milk calories. Avoid products with low fiber content and high sugar levels among cereals and granola, and do not overconsume.

◇ 'Zero' and 'low-sugar' foods, such as ice cream containing artificial sweeteners instead of sugar, have lower sugar content and calories but can lead to overeating of other foods. Replacing cravings for sweets with artificial sweeteners and satisfying them relatively healthily can create a reward mentality in the brain, allowing for the consumption of more other foods. The sweetness from artificial sweeteners, when consumed repeatedly, can also cause a sweet addiction, leading to overeating as another cause.

Oat milk is one of the alternatives often sought by people with lactose intolerance. However, oat milk contains less calcium than regular milk and may have more added fats or sugars. It is important to check the nutrition label and consume it in appropriate amounts.

◇Gluten-Free Foods Gluten is a component that gives elasticity to wheat flour products, but excessive intake can cause constipation or digestive disorders. Therefore, foods containing alternative ingredients that do not contain gluten are called gluten-free. However, gluten-free foods often contain ingredients such as sugar or fat that replace gluten, making them higher in calories than regular gluten-containing foods.
