A review of efforts to improve symptoms of tinnitus through dietary changes and other measures

A few years ago, I frequently experienced tinnitus symptoms such as a wind-like whistling sound in my ears. At that time, I was under a lot of stress and overworked, which also caused sudden hearing loss symptoms, making things worse. I went to the hospital and was prescribed medications like sedatives and steroids, and I continued to take supplements and eat foods and teas that are good for tinnitus, which significantly alleviated the symptoms.

The doctor warned that tinnitus could worsen in cases of overwork or severe stress, so I tried to maintain my health by exercising regularly and resting properly to prevent my tinnitus from worsening. Since not only stress but also anxiety, restlessness, and depression can negatively affect tinnitus, I made a lot of effort to relax my mind through meditation. Additionally, since subway noise and very loud sounds are harmful to tinnitus, I avoided such places and tried to protect my ears in those environments.

To treat the tinnitus, I often ate foods rich in DHA and EPA, such as salmon and tuna, which contain omega-3 fatty acids. I also ate almonds, walnuts, and peanuts daily, as they are said to improve hearing function. Additionally, since tinnitus can occur when there are blood circulation problems, I regularly drank ginger tea and rooibos tea, which help prevent hearing loss and improve hearing. Rooibos tea contains polyphenols and minerals with antioxidant properties, which were very effective.

To treat my tinnitus, I consistently took Dr. Lin's ultra-pure rTG Omega-3 supplements containing Omega-3, which are well-reviewed. I believe they are effective because they have a high absorption rate in the body and are rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Additionally, since magnesium is said to regulate muscle and blood vessel functions and protect the auditory nerve, I took PromBio Magnesium. This product also contains vitamin B, which I found to be even better. I plan to continue these efforts to prevent the recurrence of tinnitus symptoms.
