[One Word, One Saying] Sesame oil and seaweed flakes in moderation!
[One Word, One Saying] Sesame oil and seaweed flakes in moderation!
There is a regular restaurant I often visit.
It is a small restaurant run by an elderly couple, with only five tables.
Although there is the inconvenience of having to wait in line if you go late, still, five different side dishes are served.
Since the national road changes every day and you can also choose grilled fish, when there is no good alternative
I always prefer to go to that Korean meal restaurant for lunch.
I believe that eating a variety of side dishes evenly when I eat rice helps maintain a balanced nutrition for our body.
These days, partly because of the rising prices, even at restaurants serving seolleongtang or hangover soup, there are only radish kimchi as a side dish.
Since the sundae soup restaurant only serves kimchi and radish kimchi as side dishes, more side dishes are even more necessary.
I prefer that traditional Korean meal restaurant.
The same goes for 'gimgaru' (dried seaweed flakes); in kimchi fried rice or spicy pork fried rice, sprinkling a little gimgaru makes it tastier, so I placed a container of gimgaru on the table for guests to sprinkle according to their preference. However, some guests tend to put in a lot regardless. Well, if that's their taste, there's nothing I can do to stop them.
If you put too much seaweed flakes, the flavor of the seaweed becomes overpowering and you can only taste the seaweed. You should add just a little for a better taste. Most customers tend to just add a generous amount regardless of advice.
In life, there are things like sesame oil and seaweed flakes that are truly helpful and moments when we need them. While we are genuinely grateful and thankful for their mere existence, overdoing it can blur the essence and even take away the 'original flavor.'
