Hello... I have recently been considering taking a leave of absence for infertility treatment. I think I need to start IVF, but I'm very worried and conflicted about how to balance it with work.
First and foremost, I'm worried about the company. I want to take a maternity leave, but I don't know how to bring it up. How should I talk to my team leader... I wonder how others have mentioned it. Also, what will happen to my work during the leave, and will there be any disadvantages when I return to work later... These worries keep coming to mind.
I'm really worried about the cost. I heard that a single procedure costs several million won, but how much would I actually have to pay if I receive government support? To what extent is insurance coverage available... And if it succeeds on the first try, that's great, but what if I have to try multiple times? Then how much more would it cost... Thinking about all these things gives me a headache. It's also vague...
And my mind is also very troubled. Since I'm getting older, I feel like I should start quickly, but when I actually try to start, I feel scared... I keep thinking, what if I fail? My husband says, "Take your time," but I feel like I'm the only one rushing, and that's also stressful. Everyone around is just spreading rumors and hearsay... I think the success rate will be higher if I feel at ease, but I keep just rushing ahead with this and that ㅠㅠ
How does everyone get through it... How do you work while receiving treatment... How do you prepare the expenses... Please let me know if there is any helpful information...

난임시술비용은 소득기준에 따라 상이하고 나라에서 지원해주는 비용이 크다고 들었어요

시험관 시술을 하시게 된다면 과배란해서 난자 채취를 하는게 체력적으로 힘들기는 하지만, 성공률이 나쁘지 않습니다.
주변에 난임으로 고생한 친구들을 많이 봤었는데요..
난임의 원인을 파악하는게 제일 중요하고 적극적으로 병원 시술의 도움을 받는것을 추천해요
소득기준에 따라 정부지원금도 틀리니 해당 보건소에 전화해보시고 서류 챙기시구요~

잠시 휴직하시는 동안 대체인력을 뽑거나 다른분들이 일을 더 분담하시거나 회사마다 다 틀린데 너무 걱정하지마세요~ 요즘은 난임에 대해 동료들의 인식과 처우도 많이 달라졌다고 해요.

· 연간 3일(유급 1일)→ 연간 6일(유급 2일)
난임치료휴가도 연간 6일이고 유급도 2일로 변경 되었다고 하니 많이 지원이 되고 있네요
