If you haven't drunk this much water today... the terrible risk of 'urinary stones' and pain

Only those who have experienced a urinary stone know the pain. It means it is extremely painful. Is there a way to live a lifetime without ever knowing this pain?

Stony-hard 'kidney stones' are formed when the body lacks moisture, causing waste products to clump together. Kidney stones that form in the urinary tract, such as the kidneys, ureters, urethra, and bladder, are called urinary stones. When a stone blocks the urinary pathway, it causes severe pain every time you urinate.

To prevent urinary stones, you should manage your dietary habits regularly. Frequently consuming foods high in uric acid, calcium, or oxalates can lead to stone formation. These include spinach, nuts, meats, and chocolates, which contain high levels of oxalates. Beer is also a factor that can induce urinary stones. The substance called purine in beer is broken down in the body to produce uric acid, a component of stones. Foods like spinach and nuts should be eaten in moderation, and alcohol should be avoided as much as possible. It is also beneficial to occasionally eat citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, and plums. Citric acid found in sour fruits inhibits stone formation.

Make sure to drink water regularly.

When the body's water content is insufficient, urine volume decreases and the urine becomes concentrated.

Waste materials can accumulate. Drink more than 10 cups of water a day. Since cola, fruit juice, and tea may contain oxalate, which is a component of stones, hydration should be supplemented with plain water.

Meanwhile, if the stone size is 4mm or less, increasing fluid intake and urinating frequently can help induce natural passage. However, this should only be attempted when there is no pain caused by the stone. Attempting natural passage when pain is already present may worsen the pain as the stone is disturbed during urination. Stones larger than 4mm are difficult to pass naturally, so breaking the stone into smaller pieces using extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is the priority.

==============

The pain from the stone is much more severe than expected.

My cousin's older brother often has kidney stones.

There is something wrong with my body.

There are many cases where patients are taken to the emergency room.

They say they broke a stone every time they went.

They say there are still many small things left in the body.

Will it be resolved by fluid intake?
