Experience of feeling faint and being hospitalized due to short-term memory loss
After fainting, I experienced a period of losing myself as if I had received a blow to the head.
My mind is fainting, and my body is acting unnaturally, out of my control.
Various tests have been conducted, but the cause remains unknown; I am simply living cautiously.
That day was a fairly ordinary Saturday, and I was spending the usual day as always.
It was a weekend without any plans, and aside from a brief visit to the telecommunications store and buying laundry supplies, there were no other special outings scheduled.
I think I was preparing to go out for a short while around 12 PM.
And it seems like I took a picture of the sky while looking at the cloudy sky.
It seems I walked the same path hundreds or thousands of times, did my errands at the telecommunications agency, and then returned home.
Originally, after visiting the telecommunications agency, I was supposed to go to the goods store across the street, but it seems I didn't go.
I wasn't sure if I was on my way to the dealership or coming back, but I called my family.
After returning home, I behaved differently than usual in various ways, and then I was led by my mother to the emergency room at Kyunghee University Medical Center.
And around 6:35 PM, the time to vaguely recognize myself has returned.
From around 12 PM until 6:35 PM, I was doing something and talking, but according to my family, I kept repeating the same words and seemed somewhat unnatural.
And that time became the first time I lost since I was born.
My mind is in a state closest to fainting. I can't remember anything.
How, why, and how it happened still remain a mystery.
Since then, over a million won has been spent on tests, but the exact cause of this fainting could not be determined.
I haven't experienced a similar situation yet, but according to the doctor, I can't predict when I might faint again.
Since the cause of fainting could not be determined, it is also impossible to prepare for the prognosis.
It seems like there is a wound or something similar on my head, and I think I received some impact that caused me to faint briefly and experience temporary amnesia. It's bitter, but I am in a state where I can't do anything.
Since then, even a slight impact to the head causes quite a headache.
I always try to be careful to avoid hitting my head.
