The bereaved family of a patient who died at a hospital operated by broadcaster and psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong publicly revealed the deceased's name, age, and photo, pleading for justice to be served for the wrongful death.

On the 20th, a video uploaded by the bereaved family of Ms. A, a woman in her 30s who died after 17 days of hospitalization at a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, in May, was shared on an online community.

According to the police, on May 27th at around 3:30 a.m., patient A, who was hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon operated by Yang Jae-woong, died. The cause of death was suspected to be pseudo intestinal obstruction.

The bereaved family stated through their YouTube channel 'Safety Zone TV' on the 2nd of last month, "We are a grieving parent who lost a beloved daughter. My daughter was a young and healthy 32-year-old woman, the joy and hope of our family. However, she was hospitalized to treat her addiction to diet pills, but she suddenly died two weeks after admission due to drug-induced intestinal obstruction. We are experiencing unimaginable grief and injustice."

My daughter was very active and physically healthy until her hospitalization. She was a graduate student at a prestigious university, dedicated to her studies, but she suffered from an addiction to diet pills due to a misguided belief at one point. She wanted to live with a clear mind, so she sought help from OO Hospital in Bucheon, which she learned about through a broadcast. The bereaved family appealed, "Please thoroughly investigate the medical malpractice caused by the hospital's improper drug prescription and management, and severely punish the medical staff and hospital officials responsible for our daughter's death."
