I had a hard time with parking issues after visiting the ophthalmology clinic at Jesus Hospital.

My mother was injured by a branch in the yard and started bleeding. It happened on a weekend when I was visiting my in-laws, and my husband, who had gone out to meet childhood friends, came back with me. When I saw blood coming from her eye, I was very scared. I couldn't even wipe the flowing blood with a towel in a hurry, so I just applied pressure to stop the bleeding and took her to Jesus Hospital by car (it's her regular hospital, where she has had hip and knee surgeries, ENT surgeries, and other treatments like pneumonia, so she tends to be hospitalized frequently).

This is a hospital with a long history of over a hundred years and many medical staff, a secondary hospital, but the main building also looks somewhat complicated from the outside. It was difficult to find a proper space to park in front of the emergency room, so my mother and I got out first and went into the emergency room. We rushed there in a hurry, which was our fault, but I heard that there were no ophthalmology on-call doctors, especially no ophthalmology department staff. Reluctantly, I had to ask an ophthalmology doctor I know through my husband to help, and we had to go back to Inno Plastic Surgery, which is located in front of the university hospital. There were some twists and turns before that, but I will skip them. When my husband went to move the car, he tried to cross the crosswalk, but I asked why he was going that way, and he said the parking lot was on the opposite side. The emergency room entrance is also separate from the main building (even though there should be an internal connecting corridor between the emergency room and the main building, it was very difficult to find), and I thought it was inconvenient. Hearing that the parking lot had to be crossed over the road was very frustrating in an emergency situation. If only my husband and mother had come alone, it would have been quite awkward. Originally, the site was just the main building, but as it grew larger, the parking lot seems to have become an issue. The hospital has its reasons, but it was very inconvenient to have to cross the road and park, especially with an elderly person in her 80s.

There is also a parking lot in the main building, but there are no available spaces.

There are also 2nd and 3rd parking lots under the road, but the hospital site isn't very spacious, so it's a rather complicated hospital. My husband's friend said that the elderly are accustomed to Yesu Hospital and believe it is the best. He also mentioned that the university hospital has an emergency room not far from the main building. The parking shortage isn't limited to the hospital, but since it was a sudden emergency visit, I think they were even more flustered.I had a hard time with parking issues after visiting the ophthalmology clinic at Jesus Hospital.
