I went for an early pregnancy ultrasound. I was going to a different hospital before, but I was curious to see if the baby was doing well at this nearby place, so I decided to check it out. The doctor was really kind and took a long time to explain everything in detail, which really surprised me. Even though it was still early, they checked each limb one by one and kindly mentioned that it wasn't the right time to measure the nuchal translucency yet. I initially thought of it as a secondary clinic, but they actually spent more time with me than my main hospital did. I briefly considered switching. Unfortunately, they don't do deliveries, but if you need care during the second trimester, it seems like a great place that's very convenient and close by. I was disappointed that there was no 'first mom' talk, but the ultrasound room had a monitor on the ceiling, making it really easy to record videos, so it didn't bother me too much.
