Therefore, it is best to quit coffee until symptoms of reflux esophagitis are alleviated and do not interfere with daily life. If quitting coffee is difficult, it is recommended to switch to decaffeinated coffee.

 

Some people think that avoiding greasy foods like fried chicken and pizza is enough for late-night snacking. However, snacks such as fruits or peanuts eaten at night are often linked to acid reflux. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid eating altogether as much as possible before going to bed.
