Treatment of cystitis with healthy foods and cranberry supplements

About a year ago, I experienced pain and a burning sensation when urinating or after urination. I also had pain in my lower back and lower abdomen, so I went to the hospital and was told I had cystitis. To treat the cystitis, I took antibiotics and consumed helpful foods and nutritional supplements as part of the treatment.

First, cystitis occurs when bacteria enter the bladder, so if immunity is weakened, it can easily develop. Therefore, I drank more water than usual to help flush the bacteria out of the bladder.

I also diligently ate foods believed to help treat cystitis. Blueberries are fruits containing antioxidants, and because they are rich in anthocyanins and vitamin C, they help boost immunity and reduce inflammation, so I ate them regularly. Additionally, foods like yogurt are rich in probiotics, which can help reduce inflammation and aid in the treatment of cystitis, so I ate them consistently. Eating plain, unsweetened yogurt every day steadily reduced bladder pain, decreased bacteria, and was effective in boosting immunity.

Next, I consistently took cranberry supplements, which are good for treating cystitis. The component called proanthocyanidin found in cranberries is said to prevent bacteria from proliferating in the bladder. Therefore, I took it because it is effective in treating cystitis and helps reduce infections. I took Dr. Vital Urinary Health Parkran Cranberry Supplement, which is 100% cranberry without any other ingredients, so I trusted it, and it was even more helpful in treating cystitis.

Even if it's not cranberry supplements, drinking about one cup of cranberry juice a day is said to help treat and prevent cystitis, so I have been consistently consuming cranberries. I drank a lot of Daily One Organic Cranberry Juice, which is recommended as a good cranberry concentrate, and it definitely helped promote diuretic effects, aiding in the elimination of waste and inflammation.

Since cystitis can easily recur, I plan to manage it by regularly consuming things like cranberries and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits.
