[My Personal Health Tips] Three Types of Healthy Tea to Brew (Onion Skin Tea, Beet Tea, Kudzu Root Tea)
They say you should drink plenty of water for your health. I mainly drink corn tea, which I can easily enjoy without 부담, and I also drink about half to one cup of three types of health teas that can benefit my health each day.
I will provide information about the benefits and precautions of the healthy tea I brew and drink myself~
The first one is onion peel tea.
Since onions are good for health, I use them a lot in cooking here and there.
Onion skins are discarded or sometimes added when making broth.
It is said that the outer skin of an onion contains about 100 times more quercetin (an antioxidant component) than the onion itself.
Quercetin does not disappear even when boiled, so it is recommended to brew it in water and drink it as tea.
- Onion peel tea
- A tea made by dissolving the pigments from the outer skin of onions, which are easily accessible.
- It is said that onion skins contain a powerful antioxidant called quercetin.
Onion peel tea is made by soaking clean onion skins in water for about 30 minutes (to remove any possible impurities), then pouring out the water and boiling it for 20 to 30 minutes to steep.
The second is the bit difference.
Cut the bits into small pieces, slightly dry them, then toast them in a frying pan until all moisture is removed. After cooling, store them in the freezer.
Bit Chart
If you put a little bit of beet into a cup and pour boiling water over it, the beet's pigment will dissolve.
You can put beets in the electric kettle, boil them, and drink.
The longer you keep it, the deeper the color becomes.
If brewed lightly, it has a slight beet aroma and almost no sweetness.
Beet has been recommended to help lower blood pressure, so I started eating it. I steam the beets and eat them little by little, and I also drink it as tea like this.
It is said that beets contain more antioxidants than tomatoes. It is also one of the ingredients in the famous ABC juice.
[Benefits of Bitcha]
Blood pressure control
Cholesterol improvement
Anti-inflammatory effect
[Points to note about BitCha]
The component called bit oxalate is problematic.
Oxalate binds with calcium in the blood, accumulating in the body in small, pointed shapes, which can cause pain and may also lead to kidney stones.
Some oxalate salts are excreted through urine or sweat, so caution is needed if you have an underlying condition or impaired kidney function.
The third one is kudzu tea.
Kudzu tea might be a bit unfamiliar to you.
Kudzu tea is said to help alleviate menopausal symptoms.
There is a component called puerarin inside kudzu.
This ingredient is similar to female hormones.
It is said to be good for women going through menopause.
I purchase cuttings of kudzu that are sliced into small pieces like in the picture above.
How to make kudzu root tea
Add an appropriate amount of kudzu root tea and water, then boil for about 20 to 30 minutes to brew.
Once brewed, the kudzu root can be steeped 1 to 2 more times afterward.
Kudzu tea has a slight sweetness, making it pleasant to drink.
[Benefits of Kudzu Tea]
Anti-inflammatory effect
Help with blood sugar management
Help with hangover relief
Help alleviate menopausal symptoms
Precautions for Kudzu Tea
Kudzu root is inherently cooling in nature, so caution should be exercised if you have a cold body or poor gastrointestinal function.
If this is your first time drinking, it's best to start with small sips and warm the beverage gradually while monitoring your condition.
I introduced three types of health teas that are good for your health and that I brew and drink myself.
The benefits of this type of car may vary from person to person, so caution may be necessary.
You can drink bottled water, barley tea, corn tea, etc., without much concern, but please note that drinking large amounts or frequent consumption of beet tea is not recommended.
Drink plenty of water today as well.
Sometimes enjoy a health tea and have a healthy day ^^
