The orthopedic doctor was kind during the consultation, but since the treatment parts are divided, I was recommended to see a neurosurgeon this time, so I received treatment from both departments together.

 

However, the neurosurgery department head who saw me was very unkind, and he didn't even properly ask where I was hurting. He just listened briefly to the situation, then cut me off and told me to get an MRI right away, which surprised me. I thought at least for major tests, he would explain why the test was necessary and which area should be examined, but he was really rude and unkind.

There was also a long wait for the MRI scan, and since it's a large hospital, the cost wasn't cheap.

 

And next to him, Director Jeong of the Orthopedic Surgery Department, after taking an X-ray, said that if something is not visible, additional tests should be performed on that area. He explained in detail what kind of examination this test is for and what level of detail can be confirmed.

Today, the neurosurgery department head I met for the first time requested all kinds of tests, including plain X-rays and MRI, without explaining why they were being done, so I was a bit taken aback since I didn't understand the purpose of the tests.

 

They didn't answer even when I asked and just kind of pushed me away, telling me to just get tested, so I felt embarrassed and didn't feel good after asking.ㅠ

 

So, I think I need to consider it a bit.

I just wanted to do a regular X-ray, so I went and had the imaging done.

I was very upset. So I ended up going to another hospital to get treatment again.

 

Other hospitals do not demand excessive tests and instead explain in detail which tests should be done, how to proceed with treatment, and what to look for. And

 

At other hospitals, they confirmed the proper diagnosis without doing extensive tests. These days, I am diligently managing my health, taking medication, and starting rehabilitation while visiting different hospitals.

    병원은 단지 몸을 낫게하는 것 뿐 아니라
    내가 왜 어디가 아픈건지 상세히 설명받아서 다시 아플때 잘 대처할 수 있게 도와줘야 하는데
    설명이 부족한 병원은 가고싶지 않아요. 게다가 불친절하기까지 하면 
    목숨걸린 일 아니면 갈 이유 없지요
